William Austin “Billy” Milby, age 57, of Buffalo, passed away, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital.
Billy loved life and people; he was everyone’s friend and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sue Evelyn Edwards Milby and Buford Milby; his grandparents, Austin Ailene Edwards, and Clarence and Maggie Milby and a sister, Teresa Milby.
He is survived by a daughter, Shanoa (Adam) Orr of Louisville; two brothers, Michael (Mary) Milby of Radcliff and Gary Milby of Mt. Sherman; two nephews, Christian (Faith) Milby and Cameron (Brittany) Milby and his dogs, Izzy and Willie.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. (ET) Saturday, September 7, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Matthew Dickerson and Bro. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. (ET) Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Billy’s pallbearers will be J.J. Childress, Matt Clifford, Tim Thompson, Shane Neagle, Jamie Price, Josh Brown, Marty Stillwell; honorary pallbearers will be Tim Ford, Larry Howell, Jason Salsman, Abe Shelton and Jamie Cowan.
