William Alton Creason Obituary

William Alton Creason, 74, of Buffalo, passed away, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at his residence.

 

He was a deacon of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, retired truckdriver, an Air Force veteran, a former member of Buffalo Masonic Lodge, an avid drag race fan his nickname was “Mustang Kid”.

 

Alton was preceded in death by his father, Willian Creason.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jeanine Carter Creason; a daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Mathers of Cecilia; a son, Richard Creason of Buffalo; his mother, Christine Walker Creason of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Emily Hare, Katie Sprowls and Kelsie Creason; two sisters, Brenda (Laton) Kidd of Buffalo and Regina (Terry) Taylor of Hodgenville; a brother, Timmy (Deanna) Creason of Buffalo and five great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 2, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Rev. David Fortner officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the church cemetery.

 

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
