William Shelton

William Shelton, age 74, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his residence.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved gardening, being on the farm but most of all he loved being with his family.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn Morrison Shelton; his parents, Harvey and Alta Salsman Shelton; two brothers, James and Chalin Shelton.

He is survived by two daughters, Tonda (Tony) Underwood of Hodgenville and Stephanie (Bill) Compton of Taylorsville; five grandchildren, Brittany, Adam, Chase, Zachary and Vivian; five great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Wyatt, Westyn, Gibson and Briar and a sister, Margaret West of Hodgenville.

A memorial visitation will be held  from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 30, at  the Hodgenville Christian Life Center, 100 W. Main St. Hodgenville Kentucky.
