Vivian Dunn Obituary

Vivian Gladys Dunn, age 74, of Hodgenville, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at her residence.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dunn; her parents, Dewitt and Hattie Hart Fairbanks; two grandsons, Bradley and Brent Dunn; a step-son, William C. Dunn and a brother, John Fairbanks.

 

Vivian is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Best of Hodgenville and Anita (Dennis) Moore of Soddy Daisy, TN; four grandchildren, Jaran (Heidi) Moore, Brandon (Jessica) Cates, Devin (Kayla) Moore and Loren (Andrew) Vineyard; a bonus granddaughter, Kristen Martin; nine great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Atticus, Aidan, Anzleigh, Tehya, Lily, Ace, Lincoln and Reagan; a step-son, Dennis Dunn of KY; four sisters, Diann (Charles) Waldron, Tommie (Wayne) Curtis, Mildred Irwin and Murl Layne; a brother, Arvle (Lisa) Fairbanks and several nieces and nephews.

 

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated and the family will have a memorial service at 11 AM, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy, TN.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society, PO Box, 22718, Oklahoma, OK 73123.

 

Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of the local arrangements.
