Virginia Miller Routt

Virginia Miller Routt, age 84, of Buffalo, passed away, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin.

In her younger years she was a maternity ward nurse at Hardin Memorial Hospital, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a Christadelphian.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Norman Routt; her parents Albert Miller and Iva Shelton Burd Miller; a sister Lydia Elam; four brothers, Rudolph Burd, Hershell Burd, Billy Burd and Stewart Miller.

She is survived by three sons, Victor (Donna) Routt of Mackville, Ricky Routt and Kenneth Routt both of Buffalo; a sister, Sue Miller of Hodgenville; four grandchildren, Sophie Newton, Stephanie Riley, T.J. Presley and Robyn Jenkins; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, Keith Yocum officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
