Virginia Mae Slayton, age 82, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Magnolia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Slayton; her parents, Albert Thomas and Dulcie Ann Meredith Robinson; a granddaughter, Misty Sallee; a grandson, Michael Boone; a great-grandson, A.J. Boone and several brothers and sisters.
Mae is survived by two daughters, Kathy Sallee and Donna (James) Williamson, all of Magnolia; two sisters, Sue Moulden of Edmonton and Brenda (David) Srygler of Canmer; a brother, Wayne (Libby) Robinson of Canmer; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon (ET), Thursday, February 9, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Troy Benningfield officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Mt. Sherman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. (ET), Wednesday and after 9 a.m. (ET) Thursday at the funeral home.
