Virginia Brown Williams

Virginia Brown Williams, age 95, of Buffalo, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Decatur, Alabama.

She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church where she sang in the choir most of her adult life.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Taylor Williams and her parents, Dellard and Mayne Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginny (David) Matherly of Decatur, Alabama; two granddaughters, Laurel (Casey) Smith of Madison, Alabama and Kathryn (David) Pigue of Alexandria, Virginia; two great grandchildren, Finley Smith and Poppy Pigue.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
