Tony Pennington

Tony Glenn Pennington, age 65, of the Maxine area, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at his residence.

Tony graduated from LaRue County High School. He was valedictorian of what was the largest graduating class at that time. He held a degree in school psychology from Western Kentucky University

Tony had many friends that were important to him. He was a storyteller and you couldn't hang with him for very long without getting caught up in a game of pool or darts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Scott Pennington and Sarah Routt Pennington and a brother, Bobby Neil Pennington. 

Tony is survived by a brother, Dennis Pennington and a sister Cassandra “Sandy” Pennington Buchanan, both of Florida, a niece, Sarah Thomas and a nephew, Matthew Thomas.

Tony was cremated, there are no services scheduled at this time.
