Timothy Williams

Timothy Ross Williams, age 61, was born at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown to the late Mildred Lee Thurman on June 20, 1962, and was called home on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

A loving brother and uncle, he professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lane Lincoln CME Church, loved hunting, fishing and softball and was a deadeye shot.

Along with his mother he was preceded in death by two older brothers, Halfred Harold Williams and Jackie Lee Williams; two older sisters, Particia Ann Williams and Donna Marie Williams; his grandparents, Mamie and Charles Thurman; six uncles, Robert Thurman, Larry Thurman, William Thurman, Ronald Thurman, Donald Thurman and Charles “Pete” Thurman, Jr.; an aunt, Lolita Lee; four nephews, Shawn Williams, Ray Williams, Michael Williams and Kendle Williams and two nieces, Melissa Ann Mitchell and Teresa Williams.

Left to mourn his passing are three brothers, David R. Jackson, Terry (Susan Ray) Williams and Curtis Williams; a sister, Tracy Sue (Leland) Williams-Thurman and his nieces and nephews, Nebra L Williams, Paul Williams, Nick Williams, Brian Hager, Lisa Williams, David Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jackie Willams, Jr., Faith Williams, Lila Lee Mitchell, David R. Jackson, Jr., Justin Walker and Brandon Walker.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Billy Curle and Rev. Kenny Carter, Sr. officiating.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
