Thomas “Tommy” Creason, age 71, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He retired from Kentucky Trailer in Louisville after 35 years of service; was a mason and was loved by everyone who met him. An avid gardener with a green thumb, he had a servants heart, drove the Bible Baptist Bus, loved picking antiques and hidden gems, fishing and being with friends and family on the lake.
Tommy is overjoyed to be reunited with his wife of 49 ½ years, Naydean Creason and is also preceded in death by his parents, Edward Jacob and Clara Pearl Madden Creason; two brothers, Wesley and Mickey Creason and two sisters, Anne Creason and Sue Chaudoin.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Darren) Ratliff of New Palestine, IN; three grandchildren, Jesse Clouse and Jacob Clouse, both of Indianapolis and Layla Ratliff of New Palestine; a brother, Norman (Diane) Creason of Hodgenville; a sister, Dora Hudley of Louisville and a great-granddaughter, Mia Clouse of Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Austin Stillwell officiating. Burial will follow in Aetna Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
