Thomas “Tom” Voltz, 54, of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Baptist Heath Hardin.
He was born April 7, 1967, in Adams, Wisconsin Tom was a resident of Hodgenville for many years. He was a great son, brother and uncle, he never met a stranger, if you needed something he would give it to you.
Tom always had the coffee pot on, sometimes more than one.
Although he didn’t have any children of his own, all his nieces and nephews adopted him as their own.
He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly Church, the avid outdoors man he enjoyed fishing and never missed Thunder Over Louisville. He was a collector of cars, trucks and John Deere tractors along with a collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. Because he was a kid at heart he always had cakes and jelly beans on hand to share with the kids that visited with him.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Sarah Delaney Voltz; a sister, Barbara Voltz and two brothers, Jeff and John Voltz.
He is survived by a brother, Earl (Donna) Voltz of Cecilia, four sisters, Sally (Gary) Bourgeault of Hodgenville, Teresa (John) Bosio of Tennessee, Kimberly (Ray) Handy of Missouri and Hope (Jim) Skripsky of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, September 27, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro Richard Binkley officiating. Burial will follow in White Mills Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
