Thomas Ray Routt

Thomas Ray Routt, age 85, of Sonora, passed away, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin.

He loved farming, woodworking and visiting with neighbors and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Anderson and Mary Geneva Tucker Routt and a brother William Lewis Routt.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Matthews Routt; two brothers, Robert (Barbara Sue) Routt of Elizabethtown and Glenn (Shari Anne) Routt of Bonnieville; a brother in law, Charles (Gale) Stults of Hodgenville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 11, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Bruce Underhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Run Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
