Teena Daniels

Teena Daniels, 59, of Vine Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 24th, 2023.

She was former co-owner of Sunnyside Child Care Center for 10 years, former member of the U.S. Army Reserve, and a Nurse for over 30 years. Teena enjoyed caring for others, attending church, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, who knew her as “Gammy”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Walter Daniels and her parents,  Bill Nunn and Barbara Nunn.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristeena Lee Daniels and Samantha Daniels (Adam) Lawson; a step-daughter, Kathy Doris (John) Milligan; four step-sons, Robert Lee Daniels, Kenneth Eugene (Phyllis) Daniels, Donald Ray (Cheryl) Daniels and Ricky Dale (Cindy) Daniels; two grandchildren, Sophie Rae Lawson and Carter Lee H. Lawson; four sisters Kimberly (Mike) Ledden, Robin Farris, Bille (Glen) Bridges and Candace (Trevor) Clopton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 28, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Shannon McCubbin and James Martin Tharp officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Roosevelt Daniels Cemetery in Harlan County.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
