Susie "Sue" Staples

Susie “Sue” Heath Staples, age 75, of Magnolia, passed away, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her residence.

She was a member of Mt. Pigsah Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and enjoyed cooking and feeding meals to all her family, friends, and those in need.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, John Beler and Dicie Williamson Heath; two sisters, Helen Nunn and Linda Wells; two brothers, William “Bill” Heath Sr. and Albert Heath and a son-in-law, Kelly Dye 

She is survived by her husband, Roger Staples of Magnolia; a daughter Patricia Dye of Magnolia; a son Robbie Staples of Shelbyville; a brother, Beler Heath of Bonnieville; four grandchildren, Brittney (Gregg) Highbaugh, Justin (Crystal) Dye, Cody (Amanda) Dye and Briley Staples; 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter Dye, Jaden Salsman, Autumn Dye, Greyson Dye, Bradley Highbaugh, Josh (Angelina) Pickerell, Jesse Tate Pickerell, Jadah Montgomery, Noah Rucker, Jonah Pickerell and Makenli Duvall   

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. (EST) Tuesday, May 23, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Bro. Everett Priddy and Bro. Billy Joe Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) Monday and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (EST) at Dixon Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia.
