Steven Allen West

Steven Allen West, age 55, of Magnolia, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  

He was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on October 2, 1967. Most of his childhood was spent in Louisville, KY where he played youth sports, began his lifelong passion for fishing, and developed lifelong friendships. He later moved to Magnolia, KY where he graduated from Green County High School in 1986. He became an avid deer hunter. In 2003, he successfully completed a 2-year program to earn the Welding Technology Endorsement as a Combination Welder from Elizabethtown Technical College. In 2018, he was very proud to have been baptized at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church by Head Pastor and friend Shannon McCubbins. He very much enjoyed spending time talking with people in his congregation.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanice Lillian West; his father (Jim) Bernerd West and mother (Rose Mary) West; maternal grandparents, (George) Riley and (Sallie) Lou Wilkinson; paternal grandparents, Marion Shelby West and Lois Lawson.

He leaves behind his children, Steven (Kyle) West and (Kaleb) Allen West; his grandson, Layton West; brothers, James (Larry) West and (Paul) Riley West;  and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steven was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
