Stephen "Steve" LeSaux

Stephen Joe LeSaux was born December 3, 1948 at the family home in Fowler, Indiana. He passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 76 while living in Buffalo, Kentucky.

Soon after his graduation from Corydon, Indiana High School, Steve served four years in the United States Army. Part of his service was being stationed in Korea. While Steve was employed in a variety of professions, his longest tenure was working as a Brakeman, Conductor, and Engineer for the Southern Railway. His employment ended after being disabled in a traffic accident.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin (Pete) and Helen Clara Goodman LeSaux; a sister, Julie Katherine Board and a brother, William Henry LeSaux

Steve is survived by a son, William (Youg Son) of DeRidder, Louisiana: a daughter, Stephanie Jo Mattingly of Corydon, Indiana; three grandchildren, Elijah Mattingly, Emma Jo LeSaux and Jonathon LeSaux; a brother, Michael (Catherin) LeSaux of Madison, Indiana; a step-brother, Dannie (Patricia) Clarke of Australia and his long-time caregiver, Charlotte (Jay) White of Buffalo.

Steve was cremated. No services are scheduled.
