Sherman Bruce Thomason

Sherman Bruce Thomason, age 78, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin.

He was a retired Operations Engineer for Local 501 in Los Angeles, California.

Sherman was preceded in death by a son, Robert Thomason; his parents, Gordon and Florence Forsberg Thomason; three grandchildren, Ashton Thomason, Jamie Rain Kolschowsky and Brittany Thomason.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Hatcher Thomason; five daughters, Doreen (Darrell) Grijalva, Julie Scott, Heather (Scott) Barrett, Heather Rose (Rick) Kolschowsky and Holly (Kit) Gruppie; two sons, Antony “Tony” (Shonya) Thomason and Shay (Bethany) Thomason; three sisters, Sharon Darnell, Suellen Velthuis and Sandra Concannon; 28 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
