Sandra "Sandy" (Frueh) Griffin

Sandra “Sandy” Frueh Griffin, age 75, of Rineyville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin, surrounded by her family.

Sandy grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where she married her husband, Roy “Andy” Griffin, Jr. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Jane O’Brien Frueh, and her two brothers, Steven Frueh and Kevin Frueh.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roy “Andy” Griffin, Jr. of Rineyville; her son, Roy (Cynthia) Griffin of Hodgenville; two grandsons, Anderson Griffin and Ethan Griffin, both of Hodgenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Carlton Puryear officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery near Magnolia.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
