Sammy Wayne England, age 65, of New Haven, passed away, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He loved fishing and working on his cars but most of all he loved his grandkids.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Ulys and Francis Carter England and four brothers, Jerry, Charles, Jimmy and Arthur “Tommy” England.
He is survived by four daughters, Kimberly (Johnny) Latondress of New Haven, Rachel (Jeremy) Meadows and Cynthia England all of Lebanon and Jennifer Chauvin of Texas; four sisters, Mary Francis (Greg) Barbeau, Betty Ann Strange, Tammy Phillips and Lucy Smith; a brother, William “Tadpole” England; nine grandchildren, Brianna Bryant, Kaleb Bryant, Aiden Bryant, Kylee Meadows, Alyah Meadows, Haley Garrett, Ethan Garrett, Carleigh Helm, Jacob Chauvin; his girlfriend, Julie Howell.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Dan Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mt. Sherman Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
