Ruth Logsdon Jaggers, age 90, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Canmer Baptist Church; was a lifelong farmer and loving mom and mammaw. Ruth was a great cook, especially her fried chicken, fried taters and dried beans.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. “Joe” Jaggers on November 9, 2011 and would have celebrated their 73rd anniversary this December; her parents, C.C. and Mae Caswell Logsdon; a great-great-granddaughter, Annabella Marie Laytart and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her five children, Judith Darnell Gonterman, Debra Gail Skaggs, Shelia (Brian) Stinson, Steve (Janet) Jaggers and Kimberly Renee Jaggers and her sons, Mason and Tyler; nine other grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (ET), Friday, August 19, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Terry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. (ET), Thursday and after 9 a.m. (ET), Friday at the funeral home.
