Rosie Mae Powers, age 71, of Sonora, passed away, Monday, July 31, 2023, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab.
She was a former employee of Nazareth Home Health, Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, Akebono and Inoac.
Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Powers; five brothers, James, Randy, Charlies, Ronnie and David Powers and her step-father, Morris Arnette.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Danny) Rutlege of Sonora; a son, Billy (Tanya) Hagan, of Boston; her mother, Sally Arnette of Elizabethtown; two step-daughters, Brittany (Craig) Spalding of Bardstown, and Erica (Jamie) Wallingford of Willisburg; a sister, Wanda Locke of Hodgenville; two brothers, Frankie (Kathy) Powers of Edmonton and Hilbert Powers of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Dalton (Erica), Skyler, Katelynn and Ava Rutledge, Wyatt Hagan and Wesley Johnson and two great-grandchildren, Oaklee and Mea Mae Rutledge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 4 with Bro. Keenan Riley officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
