Obituary

Ronnie Dean Powell, age 77, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

 

He was a retired supervisor for Nationwide Uniform Company after 33 years of service, a member of the American Legion and was an avid fisherman.

 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Maxine Handley Powell; two sisters, Donna Powell and Vicki Robinson; a brother, James Powell.

 

He is survived by his wife, Tina Moody Powell; two daughters, Lori (Malcolm) Jones and Anita Powell both of Hodgenville; a son, Lamar Powell of Maryland; two stepdaughters, Dawn Brown of Florida and Danielle Brown of Las Vegas; two sisters, Janet Handley of Elizabethtown and Peggy Jeffers of South Carolina; two brothers, Roland “Butch” Powell of Evansville and Bobby Powell of Hodgenville; six grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

 

A memorial graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, at Hubbard Cemetery in Hodgenville, Bro. Billy Curle officiating.
