Robert E. ‘Bob” Fisher, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was a United States Airforce Veteran, where he was an aircraft mechanic and continued that career for 52 years with Continental Airlines and UPS, Bob enjoyed collecting antique tractors, was a former dairy farmer and a Catholic by faith.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Pascal and Bonnie June Ferguson Fisher and a sister, Nancy Fisher.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Fisher; a daughter, Kathleen (Steven) Sheely of Hodgenville; a son, Christopher Lee (Kerrie) Fisher of Florida; six grandchildren, Jonathan (Myranda Nyekan) Fisher, Elisabeth ( Jonathan Langenberg) Sheely, Cory Fisher, Lucas Fisher, Nicholas Fisher and Haleigh Pyle; a great-granddaughter, Joan Fisher and a brother, James Ray Fisher of Alabama.
A funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hodgenville with Fr. Peter Bucalo officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Prayer services will be held approximately 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
