Ricky Knox

Ricky Wayne Knox, age 60, of Roanoke, passed away, Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He had recently retired from Asplundh and Knox Tree Service, was an avid bowhunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Ricky was loved by all his family and was a best friend to many.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Knox; his parents, Everett, Sr. and Allison Knox and a brother, Sonny Knox.

He is survived by two daughters, Chelsea Knox (Kippy) Marshall of Roanoke and Donna Knox of Louisville; two sisters, Barbara (John) Gardner and Lendall (Leon) Brady all of Louisville; a brother, Bruce Knox of Hodgenville and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, February 6, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in the Knox Memorial Cemetery in Roanoke.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
