Richard Sandfer

Richard Sandfer, age 73, of Sonora, passed away, Monday, June 21, 2021, at his residence.

He was retired from Gates Rubber Company in Elizabethtown.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Oma Mae Coogle Sandfer; four brothers, Charles, Howard, Hayes and Wavey Sandfer.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Brown Sandfer; a daughter, Latessia (Bryant) Skaggs of Magnolia; two sons, Kevin (Kristi) Sandfer of Louisville and Kenny Sandfer of Sonora; five grandchildren, Ryan and Lauran Skaggs, Austin, Baylee and Caden Beckman.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, June 24, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro. Davey Graham officiating.  Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday at the funeral home.
