Reba Sue Taylor Baney

Reba Sue Taylor Baney, age 70, of Magnolia, passed away, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at her residence.

She had been a member of Magnolia Baptist Church for over 68 years, she worked along side her dad for 36 years at the Southern States store in Magnolia and spent 18 years with the Hodgenville Post Office.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Everett “Buck” and Pauline Clyde Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald “Donnie” Baney; a son, Travis (Callie) Baney of Frankfort; a sister, Glenda (Bill) Long of Magnolia; a niece, Brittany Farrington and a nephew, Josh Baney.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 10, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, Travis Baney officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
