Reba S. Duell

Reba S. Duell, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, April 9, 2021, at her residence.

She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Hodgenville where she sang in the Young at Heart Choir and served in numerous capacities over the years, and was a former member of Hodgenville Eastern Star.

Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Vertrees Duell and her parents, Charlie and Hannie DeSpain Skaggs.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty (Jim) Carnes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Barbra (Joseph “Freddie”) Gowen of Hodgenville; a granddaughter, Tiffany (Dawayne) Nunn of Hodgenville and two great-grandchildren, Kallie and Kenneth Tyler “Ty” Nunn.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, April 12, at First Baptist Church in Hodgenville with Dr. Paul Richey officiating. Private burial will follow in the Sonora Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm Sunday and after 11 am Monday at the church.

Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
