Phyllis Bien Puckett, age 81, of Magnolia, passed away, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She taught for 28 years mainly at Magnolia Elementary School, was a member of South Fork Baptist Church, and was an avid reader all her life.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Puckett; her parents, Jessie and Virginia “Ellen” Price Bien and her son in law, David Lee.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Lee of Magnolia; a son, Robert (Terri) Goode of Shepherdsville; three grandchildren, Steven (Ashley) Dye, Sydney Lee, Hayden Lee and four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Dye, Makayla Dye, Paisley McCoy and Ryker Dye.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Jonathan Carl officiating. She will be buried alongside her husband in South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 31 and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
