Phillip Dewayne Milby, age 62, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He a member of Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church; was Chief Dispatcher for LaRue County E-911 and retired from Magnolia Fire Department after over 20 years of service.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Eugene and Frances “Frankie” Gibson Milby.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Peace Milby; a daughter, Kelsy Anne (Dustin) Allen of Elizabethtown; two sons, Nathan (Joni) Milby of Vine Grove and Kaleb Milby of Magnolia; two sisters, Vanessa Burt of Magnolia and Gwen “Wendy” (Steve) Skaggs of Texas; four grandchildren, Ryan, Kayden, Bentley and Carson and his “adopted sister” Joey (Jay) Wood of Magnolia.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. (ET), Saturday, November 27, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. James Crim officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. (ET) and after 9 a.m. (ET) Saturday at the funeral home.
