Obituary

Peggy Stuckey Mather, age 60, of Vine Grove, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin.

She was born in Germany in 1962, a 1981 graduate of West Hardin High School, office manager of Spirit-Miller Trucking in Elizabethtown. She was a loving wife and loved her nieces, great nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Edward and Anna Erika Lerch Stuckey; a sister, Petra Marliese Stuckey, a brother, Jimmy Edward Stuckey and a niece, Jessica Nicole Stuckey.

Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Michael Mather, her father-in-law, Kenny Mather of Elizabethtown, a brother-in-law, David Mather of Hodgenville, two sisters, Sylvia Stuckey of Elizabethtown and Mary (Robert) Skaggs of Garfield; two nieces, Elizabeth Stuckey of Elizabethtown and Kim Giordano (Lucas) Sinclair of Louisville; great-nieces and nephews, Mars and Trista Wiles, Carter Ayers, Gavyn and Layne Weber.

Public visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 15, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Cremation will follow.
