Paula Kay (Decker) Meredith

Paula Kay Meredith, age 80, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and the “McDonald’s Lunch Bunch” and retired from E-town Sportswear.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Meredith and her parents, Paul and Katy Lee Decker.

She is survived by five sons, Jerry Gibson of Upton, Doug (Kimberly) Gibson of Glendale, Kim (Sheila) Gibson of Elizabethtown, David (Cindy) Gibson of Glendale and DeWayne (Carlene) Gibson of Hodgenville; five step-sons, Otis (Rosemary) Meredith of Hodgenville, Steve Meredith of Mountain City, TN and Terry (Amber) Meredith, Billy (Connie) Meredith and Mark (Lisa) Meredith, all of Hodgenville; two sisters, Joyce (Gene) Oldham of Elizabethtown and Becky Decker of Louisville and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen and memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM, Monday, March 22, 2021, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
