Patti (Harned) Weller

Patti Harned Weller, age 91, of Arkansas, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She attended Hodgenville High School, Transylvania University, and received her Masters and Rank I in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University. Patti taught in Nelson and LaRue County for 36 years and was involved in education for 44 years.

Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd F. Weller; twin sons, Joe and Jay Weller; a daughter, Kitti Renee; her parents, Elisha Marvin and Katie Troutman Harned; three brothers, L.L., Marvin and Shirley Harned and a sister, Juanita Marshall.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Mike) Johnson of Arkansas; two granddaughters, Katie (Eddie) Donovan and Carlie Johnson; a great-grandson, Mac Donovan and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Tim Underhill officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and continue after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
