Patsy (Perkins) Downs

Patsy Perkins Downs, age 71, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

She retired from Nationwide Uniform in Hodgenville.

Patsy was preceded in death by John Downs; her parents, Virgil Leo and Jennie Vester Martin Perkins; a sister, Geneva DeSpain and four brothers, Gilbert, Ray, Richard and Tommy Perkins.

She is survived by two children, Jennifer Gardner of Florida and Johnny (Carrie) Downs of Buffalo; four sisters, Ethel Lobb, Juanita Shofner, Irene (Buddy) Sprowles and Bonnie (Ed) Sanders; a brother, Paul Perkins; a special niece, June (Dwayne) Emberton and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with burial to follow in Union Band Baptist Church Cemetery near Howardstown.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
