Minnie Thomas Smith Walsh, age 91, of Magnolia, passed away, Monday, November 18, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Greensburg.
She was a member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church, loved to bake and decorate cakes, country music, traveling, but most of all her grand and great-grandchildren.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Roger Walsh; her parents, Billy and Lilly Polston and a sister, Mary Logsdon.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie (Jerry) Kelly of Greensburg and Shelia (William) Beams of Hodgenville; three grandchildren, Candy (Bryan) Webb of Tennessee, Heather Hack of Hodgenville and Matthew Jones of Jonesville; nine great-grandchildren, Devan Jackson, Jordan Webb, Kaitlin Hack, Tori Jackson, Caleb Hack, Caden Hack, Kinzleigh Hack, Scarlett Jones and Piper Jones; two sisters, Lillian Ragland of Bonnieville and Wanda (Calvin) Childress of Jonesville and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. (EST) Wednesday, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Billy Foster and Bro. Jeremy Glabb officiating. Burial will follow in the Knoxes Creek Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. (EST) Tuesday and continues after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
