Minnie Mae Peace

Minnie Mae Peace, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Helmwood Healthcare in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church; retired from Ft. Knox as Chief of Logistics after 34 years; was a Kentucky Colonel, member of NARFE and loved growing roses.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ray Peace; her parents, Elmer Lane and Florence Richardson Howell and two brother, Elmer Earl Howell and John C. “J.C.” Howell.

She is survived by three nieces, LuAnne (R.K.) Graham and Sheila Bloyd, all of Hodgenville and Kathy (Randy) Theriot of Bourg, LA and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
