Mildred Lee Elliott, age 92, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, where she enjoyed spending time taking care of the church, a retired nursing assistant, Mildred loved working the seek and find books and watching University of Kentucky Basketball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Dora Elkins Benningfield; three brothers, Eugene, Edward and Howard Benningfield.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 74 years, Murle Elliott; a daughter, Patsy (Billy) Williams of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Todd (Rene`) Williams of Cecilia and Jason (Shelley) Williams of Georgetown; four great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Sydnie, Samantha and Alex Williams.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Bro. David Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
