Mary Ann (Johnson) McClough

Mary Ann McClough was born in Campbellsville on January 6, 1935, to the late Nathan W. and Alice V. Coakley Johnson and went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Hodgenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Russell McClough; a son, Larry McClough, Sr.; a grandson. DeWayne McClough Jr; her parents, brothers, Wilton, Buck, George, Harvey, Spencer and Carl Johnson and sisters Nellentine, Nellie, Adla, Ora Lee and Margaret.

Mary Ann married the love of her life, Russel McClough and dedicated her life to homemaking.  She loved cooking and flowers of all kinds. She was born again in 1968 at Christ Temple Church, District Elder James Mayfield, Cleveland, Ohio.

She leaves nine surviving children, Owen McClough, DeWayne McClough, Johnnie (Shirley) Johnson, Anthony (Cassandra) McClough, Marshell Johnson-Wright, Mary Allice McClough, Sarah Johnson, Elizabeth (Bathea) Piggee and Karen (Shug) McClough; two brothers, James Johnson and Paul (Annie) Johnson; one sister, Brenda (Henry) Bennett; a daughter-in-law, Tracy McClough and a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Pastor Darian Sheppard officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Union Church Cemetery near Campbellsville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
