Miriam "Marie" Mitchell

Miriam “Marie” Mitchell, age 69, of Elizabethtown, passed away July 3, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin.

Marie is survived by her husband, Doug Mitchell of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Lisa Marie (Quintin) Knight of Denton, TX; a son, Paul Edward (Alese) Engler of Hodgenville; two brothers, Jimmy Cantrell and Bob Cantrell; five sisters, Ellie Ray, Ruthie Brown, Veneda Carre, Marsha Cooper and Jean Miller and seven grandchildren Mady, Deacon, Adrian, Selena, Kaylee, Lucas, and Grady.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9th, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Mark Knight officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
