Margie Nunn Hawkins

Margie Nunn Hawkins, age 93, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Signature Health Care of Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church, a homemaker and loved to garden and the Lord.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Hawkins, her parents, Bernie and Elizabeth Cruse Nunn; three sisters, Eileen, Mary and Dolly; two brothers, Edison and Junior.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie Benningfield; a son, Aaron Hawkins; three grandchildren, Jacqueline Newton, Lisa (Johnny) Childress and Jessica (Sterling) LeHotta; eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon and Allen Stinnett, Lindsey Cowles Bryd, Justin and Logan Childress, Arya and Jemma LeHotta; five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro Merrill Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
