Margaret Diane Curry, age 74, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, March 3, 2025, at her residence.
She was a retired Dietitian for Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, former school bus driver and cafeteria employee for LaRue County Schools and was also an avid animal lover giving monthly to their cause.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Curry; a grandson, Payton Altman; her parents, Silas and Laura Toby Powell; a brother, Claude Powell and a sister, Dorothy Butler.
She is survived by a son, Lane (Linda) Howell of Rineyville; a daughter, Michelle “Sissy” Howell of Hodgenville; two step-daughters, Beverly Viers Coffey and Sondra Curry Altman; twelve special grandchildren, Aaron, Alan, Amanda B., Jennifer, Amanda M., Melissa, Megan, Autumn, Bryan, Zach, Richie and Jordan; a special great-grandson whom she helped raise, Sklyar, great-grandchildren, Killian, Griffin, Jaden, Alanya, Owen, Ella, Tate, Judd, Ava, Abbi and Anna Kate.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. David Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
