Louise Pottinger

Louise Pottinger, age 78, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Pikeview Baptist Church and retired custodian and bus monitor for LaRue and Hardin County Schools.

Louise was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridgette Dorsey and her parents, Floyd Vance and Gladys Mae Hardin Vance Logsdon.

She is survived by two cousins, Wanda Staples and Daniel (Cynthia) Street.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (ET), Friday, January 19, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Justin Rutledge officiating.  Private burial will be in Edwards Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
