Louisa M. Hamilton

Louisa M. Hamilton, age 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She was an employee of Kroger Towne Mall for over 43 years, a member of the Hodgenville United Methodist Church and the Hodgenville Methodist Women, an avid reader she loved traveling and spending time with her family.

Louisa was preceded in death by her husband LTC Harold Hamilton, Ret.; her parents, Leonard and Rhoda Stepler Mulford; nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Daryl) Elser of Louisville and Jeannie (Daniel G.) Pearman of Hodgenville; a son, Mickey (Melissa) Hamilton of Franklin, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Linsey (Shawn) Roller, Natalie (Jason) Worrix, Adam (Kailey) Elser, Clay Hamilton, Jessica Hamilton, Margaret Hamilton, William Pearman and Emily Pearman; two great-grandchildren, Logan Roller and Lylah Elser; two sisters, Ida Wilson of New Jersey and Dorothy (Richard) Pere of Florida and a brother, Walter (Joyce) Mulford of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, July 16, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday at the funeral home.
