Linda Sue Wilson, age 81, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at her residence.
She was a former employee of Wal-Mart in Elizabethtown and Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville. Linda and her husband Bill were also over the road truckdrivers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garrett “Bill” Wilson; her parents, John Harrison and Arletta Husband Waldridge; three brothers, Leonard, Roy Russel and Darrell Waldridge and a sister, Mildred Goodlett.
Linda is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Jack) Krauser of Radcliff; a son, David Garrett Wilson of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Ashley Streible Kerr, Amber Krauser and Cody Garrett Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Adalyne Krauser and Audree Kerr; two brothers, Ronnie Waldridge of Shelbyville and Glenn (Voncile) Waldridge of Middletown and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with Doug Goodlett officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
