Linda Rucker Skaggs, age 72, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She had a strong faith in the Lord all her life; loved her grandkids, enjoyed being with her family and was an avid UK basketball fan.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer “Dick” and Katherine Logston Rucker; a daughter, Shannon Lynne Burd; two sisters, Diana Thompson and Judy Cooper and two brothers, Ronnie Rucker and Jerry Rucker.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd “Frog” Skaggs; two sons, Todd (Laurie) Skaggs and Kyle (Heather) Skaggs; four daughters, Amanda Brooke (Taylor) Albert, Jessica Taylor Burd, Andrea Katlyn Burd and Laura Casey Burd; two sisters, Nancy Gardner and Janet Skaggs; three brothers, Dale Rucker, Dennis Rucker and Barry Rucker; eight grandchildren, Ashley Huckleby, Leah Martin, Jastyn Sweet, Evelyn Skaggs, Kyleigh Skaggs, Levi Skaggs, Ethan Goodman and Landon Turner and six great-grandchildren, Grayson Purvis, Bryleigh Purvis, Addison Huckleby, Mason Huckleby, Madeline Martin and Wade Albert, all of Hodgenville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 19, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday and after 10 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
