Leon Whitlock

Leon Whitlock, age 95, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, September 26, 2022, at Willow Creek Assisted Living in Elizabethtown.

He was a lifelong farmer that enjoyed his horses and machinery.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ida Mae Carr Whitlock; four sisters, Geneva Carroll, Ruby Perkins, Nannie Greer and Darlene Miles; three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Bobby Whitlock; a daughter-in-law Trudy Whitlock.

He is survived by a daughter, Diana Kay Whitlock of Hodgenville; two sons, Gary Whitlock of Elizabethtown and Mickey (Patty) Whitlock of South Carolina; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Asa (Margaret) Whitlock and Bernie (Carolyn) Whitlock all of Hodgenville and Tommy (June) Whitlock of Elizabethtown.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 29, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Billy Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
