Leasa Jane Gardner Wayne

Leasa Jane Gardner Wayne, age 61, of Springfield, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at her residence.

She was a former employee of Mitsuba in Bardstown, a member of Marion County Sportsman Club and loved her family and spending time with them.

Leasa was preceded in death by her father, Harrison “Shorty” Gardner and her brother, Randall Gardner.

She is survived by husband, Jodie Wayne; two daughters, Kayla Blair and C.J. Wayne both of Lebanon, a son, Trey (Macy Noel) Blair of Lebanon; her mother, Dorothy Gardner of Hodgenville; a sister, Glenda Smith of Elizabethtown and a granddaughter, Kendall McCandless.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Christian Church Cemetery.

Leasa Pallbearers will be Timmy Smith, Mark Wayne, Travis Gardner, Kevin Gardner, Tyler Gardner and Jody Walters.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
