Laton Kidd

Laton Kidd, age 83, of Buffalo, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, a former Gideon, a member of the LaRue County Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years, and a Kentucky Colonel.

Laton was preceded in death by his parents, Ellice and Emily Irene Bunnell Kidd.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kidd of Buffalo; two daughters, Robin Ann Kidd and Sue Ann McCandless both of Hodgenville; two sons, William “W.A.” (Connie) Kidd of Bardstown and Larry (Sandy) Kidd of Hodgenville; two step-daughters, Sherry Kulinna and Shelly Litton, both of Elizabethtown; a step-son, Terry (Amy) Litton of Hodgenville, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 30, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. David Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor  Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
