Larry Sidebottom

Larry Ross Sidebottom, age 77, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.  

He was an Army Veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam, enjoyed mowing his lawn and countless others while serving his neighbors and community, he never met a stranger.  

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Elmer “Leo” Sidebottom; two sisters, Terry Durrett and Brenda Bales and a brother, Billy Ray Sidebottom.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Sidebottom; three daughters, Shannon Stark, Tasha Ransonet and Lisa Stewart; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his brother, Alan.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Ronnie Ramsey officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans cemetery central in Radcliff.

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to The Disabled American Veterans at D.A.V. National headquarters located at 860 Dolwick Drive, Erlanger, Ky, 41018.
