Kenneth "Pete" Wood Higgason

Kenneth “Pete” Wood Higgason, age 79, of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at his residence.

He was an Army Veteran, a semi-truck driver hauling heavy equipment and he loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.  

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Whinzer and Mary Wood Higgason.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Smith Higgason; a daughter, Tina (Clyde) Thompson of Sonora; three grandchildren, Haley, Ben and Jacob Edwards; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Ann Hill of California and Janice Meyers of Bonnieville.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 6, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and will continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
