Kenneth "Kenny" Mather

Kenneth “Kenny” Mather, age 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He retired from construction and as a dispatcher for Spirit Miller, LLC.

Kenny was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Mather; two sons, Michael and Randy Mather and a daughter-in-law, Peggy Mather.

He is survived by a son, David (Vickie Jackson) Mather of Elizabethtown; a step-son, Jeff (Ashley) Metcalf of Hodgenville; four sisters, Ann Brewer and Wilma Hovious, both of Hodgenville and Jeannette (Ruben) Gardner and Norma Sue Ballinger, all of Elizabethtown; a brother, Hugh “Roy” (Angie) Mather of Rineyville; five grandchildren, Emily Carter, Ariel Metcalf, Kenneth Daniel Mather, Ethan Metcalf and Jessica Belue and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Billy Curle officiating.  Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
